Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., founded in 1988, persists with a conscientious attitude toward professional service and thereby cultivates the three major government joint tender systems of pharmaceuticals. Tsang-Da distributes mainly medicines for hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia；as well as medicines in psychiatry and gerontology, such as sedation, hypnotics, antidepressant and anti-anxiety drugs. Tsang-Da has gradually expanded its scope to 39 DOH hospitals and nursing homes, 15 veterans hospitals, 9 armed forces hospitals and more than 200 public health centers and private clinics.

As a sole proprietorship corporation, Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has full autonomy in management and high operating efficiency. The enforcement of product and channel planning as well as the communication and coordination with governmental units and hospitals are prompt and credible. The total number of salespersons nationwide has exceeded 300 since March 2010, aiming to establish a full-scale business and service network in Taiwan. The total turnover has surpassed NT 200 million since 2008 and has steady growth each year.

While continuing professional services to customers, Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. upholds the concept of creating win-win situation to assist over 30 pharmaceutical factories and agents to launch medicines to the three major government joint tender systems of pharmaceuticals, among which includes renowned GMP, cGMP, PICS pharmaceutical factories. The number of cooperative factories and agents are increasing continuously, and the medicines merchandised by Tsang-Da have almost reached 100 items.

Huang Yu-ching, founder and CEO of Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is equipped with pharmaceutical knowledge and long-term cumulative experience in pharmaceutical marketing. In 1977 Founder Huang graduated from Department of Pharmacy, China Medical University, Taiwan, and in the same year obtained a pharmacist license in a national examination. From 1977 to 1980, Founder Huang held a post in Pfizer Ltd. and received complete and rigorous sales training, laying the basis of Tsang-Da’s sales system and future development. From 1981 to 1984, Founder Huang was Assistant Manager as well as the highest executor of DOH hospital joint tender system (in Standard Chem. & Pharm. Co., Ltd. From 1984 to 1987, to deepen and widen relationship with DOH hospitals, Founder Huang was Manager in a private pharmaceutical company and was fully in charge of distribution to DOH hospital joint tender system. In 1988, Founder Huang established Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

After a comprehensive overview of Taiwan’s domestic pharmaceutical market, Tsang-Da Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., while maintaining sales channels in the three major government joint tender systems of pharmaceuticals, aims at advancing its business in private hospitals and clinics where higher growth is expectable. On the other hand, with a global vision, Tsang-Da has been actively seeking foreign strategic alliances to usher in potential new medicines and competitive generic drugs, and purpose to increase distribution items. Regarding the international market, Tsang-Da has been expanding sales channels to the Philippines and still looking for partners in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and other foreign markets, transforming into an internationalized pharmaceutical distributor.

In 1996 Founder Huang, on behalf of Tsang-Da, founded Rotary Club of Tainan Cheng-Da (District 3470) as a Charter President (C.P.) to sponsor social events and fulfill corporate social responsibility.
